Accessibility Help Page

Margaret Blackwood Housing Association is committed to making our website more accessible.  To date, we have incorporated the following features to improve site accessibility.

1.  All of our web pages are scalable.  This means that you can change the size of the font by changing the settings in your web browser.  To find out how to do this for your web browser, please see the RNIB web page on how to change font sizes (opens in a new window).

2.  As a rule, if you click on a link to another (internal) page of our website, that page will open in the browser window that is currently open, replacing the previous webpage you were looking at..  New browser windows are opened when you click on any external link and we indicate when this is the case.

3.  The MBHA website site has ALT Text for all images.  ALT text is the small amount of text that appears when you place your mouse cursor over an image and can be read aloud to the user by screen readers and interpreted by Braille displays.

4.  Our website displays text with good contrast levels to differentiate it from the background in which it is displayed.
