Slater Way, Brechin

Slater Way is located off Montrose Street, on the outskirts of Brechin which is an area that is currently being regenerated by Angus Council in partnership with private developers and other Associations. The scheme is close to a few local shops and is a short bus ride from the town centre. The site has been divided up into three sections - one for the development of affordable housing by a private developer JD Laing, one for a 50 place nursery school and the third for our development.
Completed in October 2007, Slater Way consists of 15 houses and bungalows, of which 5 have been designed for full time wheelchair users, 2 for people with limited mobility, and 8 family houses. All properties are double glazed and have gas central heating. The flats are fitted with door entry systems and digital satellite systems. The Association maintains the communal garden areas. Applying for a HouseIf you would like to apply for a house, please contact our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of the local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement. Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply. Rent and Service ChargesRents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year. Slater Way
