| Located at the junction of Aitchison Street and Sword Street, Aitchison Court has a library and dental surgeries within 300 yards and a medical centre within 400 yards. The Post Office, banks and building societies and a choice of pubs and restaurants are within a 500 yard radius. Within half a mile there is a good range of shops, including a supermarket. Completed in 1993, the development consists of five flats designed for wheelchair users and eight upstairs flats. All properties are double glazed and have electric heating. Scheme Management and MaintenanceAitchison Court is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office. Applying for a HouseIf you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement. Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply. Rent and Service ChargesRents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
