Arran, St Leonards, East Kilbride

Arran is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. The dental surgery, library and supermarket are just 100 yards away, whilst the Post Office and a good range of local shops are within three-quarters of a mile. Banks, building societies, a choice of pubs and restaurants and the health centre are about a mile away. The development is well positioned for the main shopping centre in East Kilbride.

Completed in 1985, the development consists of five houses specially designed for wheelchair users. All properties have gas central heating.

The Association maintains gardens.

Properties

Designed for wheelchair users

3 one-bedroom houses, each suitable for a single person or couple
2 two-bedroom house, each suitable for up to three people
1 three-bedroom house, suitable for up to six people

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Arran is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.

Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
