Ballantrae Court, Glasgow
| Ballantrae Court was completed in 1984 and has 44 self-contained flats of various sizes. The development has a communal lounge, laundry and two guest bedrooms. The building has three floors, the first two of which are served by a lift. Access to the third floor, with flats for people with less severely limited mobility or non-disabled people, is by stairs. The emphasis at Ballantrae Court is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able. For some, sheltered housing may be a first step towards independent living. Housing Services staff can advise on alternative housing options.
