Barleyhill Terrace, Edinburgh

Built in 2009, Barleyhill Terrace is in a quiet location just off Ryehill Gardens and about 400 yards from Leith Links / Claremont Park. The development consists of 24 properties, of which twelve are owned by the Association. The properties owned by MBHA consist of two blocks of six flats over three levels. These properties are for general needs applicants. There is a shared communal landscaped area to rear of these blocks which is for the use of all tenants.

Local Services

Public Transport 

The area is well connected to bus routes, with Lothian Buses providing services from the nearby Restalrig Road.

Shops and amenities 

Hermitage Primary School is 350 yards away and Leith Academy less than half a mile. Within a radius of 400 yards, there is a doctor’s surgery, a dentist’s, a chemist’s and a post office. Within a mile, there is a wide selection of pubs, restaurants, leisure and fitness centres, food, home goods and DIY shops, a newsagent and a choice of supermarkets. The Ocean Terminal shopping centre is one-and-a-quarter miles away.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Barleyhill Terrace is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.

We participate in City of Edinburgh Council’s common housing register, EdIndex. If you would like to apply for a house at Barleyhill Terrace, you should complete an EdIndex application form.
