Brooklands, Alexandria
| Brooklands is located close to the local swimming pool. Vale of Leven General Hospital is 100 yards away whilst the library, dental surgery and health centre are about half a mile away. Within a three-quarters of a mile radius of the scheme there are banks, a range of shops including a supermarket as well as a choice of pubs and restaurants. Completed in 1993, the development consists of eight flats designed for wheelchair users and two flats for people with limited mobility on the ground floor. 2 two-bedroom flat, each suitable for up to three people Scheme Management and MaintenanceBrooklands is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office. Applying for a HouseIf you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement. Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply. Rent and Service ChargesRents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
