| Completed in 1993, the development consists of eight flats designed for wheelchair users and two flats for people with limited mobility on the ground floor. The five first floor flats and four flats on the second floor are designed for non-disabled people. All properties are double-glazed and have electric white meter heating. All of the flats are fitted with door entry systems. The gardens and courtyard areas are maintained by the Association. Local ServicesShops and amenitiesBrooklands is located close to the local swimming pool. Vale of Leven General Hospital is 100 yards away whilst the library, dental surgery and health centre are about half a mile away. Within a three-quarters of a mile radius of the scheme there are banks, a range of shops including a supermarket as well as a choice of pubs and restaurants. Scheme Management and MaintenanceBrooklands is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.
