Clyde Street/Swan Street/Tay Street/Ward Street, Denbeath

This development is located mainly in Clyde Street but also takes in properties in three adjoining streets, Swan Street, Tay Street and Ward Street. Completed in 1992, the development consists of 20 houses and flats, 6 of which have been designed for wheelchair users. All properties are double glazed and have electric heating. The flats are fitted with door entry systems. Tenants who feel that they may be vulnerable can have their homes linked into the local authority Community Alarm system. There are landscaped garden areas which are maintained by the Association.

Shops and amenities

Within half a mile of the scheme you will find a broad range of shops, a bank, Post Office, library and dental surgery. The medical centre is about one and a half miles away.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

The whole scheme is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Housing Services Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.
