Fraser Street, Cambuslang

Fraser Street is situated between the main shopping centres of Cambuslang and Rutherglen and is close to the Association's other development at Glenside Drive. The library is 500 yards away and the medical centre 600 yards. Within half a mile are banks, the Post Office, dental surgery, a range of shops including a supermarket, and a few pubs and restaurants.

Completed in 1984, Fraser Street is a small development of five bungalows for wheelchair users.

All properties are double-glazed and have gas central heating.

The garden area is maintained by the Association.

All are designed for wheelchair users

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Fraser Street is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.

Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
