A small courtyard development, Gateside Street is 200 yards from the library, 300 yards from the Post Office, banks, dental surgeries and a wide range of shops including a supermarket. The health centre is 400 yards away and within a 500 yard radius there is a choice of pubs and restaurants. Completed in 1988, the development consists of a house and ten flats. Community Alarm System

There is an arrangement with the Bield Community Alarm Scheme whereby tenants who consider that they are at risk may have their homes linked into this emergency care system.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Gateside Street is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.

Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
