Glenside Drive is situated between the main shopping centres of Rutherglen and Cambuslang and is close to the Association's other development at Fraser Street. Within a half-mile radius of the scheme there is a Post Office, bank, dental surgery, a couple of pubs and restaurants, and a range of shops including a supermarket. The library and medical practice are just over half a mile away.
Completed in 1984, Glenside Drive is a small development of four bungalows for wheelchair users, one flat for a person or couple with limited mobility and three flats for older people. All properties are double-glazed and have gas central heating. The garden area is maintained by the Association. Applying for a HouseIf you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement. Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply. Rent and Service ChargesRents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment.
