Hill Place, Arbroath

Completed in 1987, the development consists of two flats designed for wheelchair users and four flats for non-disabled people. All properties are double-glazed, have gas central heating and are fitted with door entry systems. The garden area is maintained by the Association.

There is an arrangement with the local council whereby tenants who consider that they are at risk may have their homes linked into a community alarm system.

Local Services

Shops and amenities

Located in the centre of Arbroath, Hill Place is close to the local council offices and the library. There is a wide range of shops, including a supermarket, a Post Office, banks and building societies and several pubs and restaurants, all within 200 yards. The health centre and dental surgery are also close by, whilst Arbroath Infirmary is less than a mile away.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Hill Place is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Housing Services Office where the Maintenance Department is also based.
