Holton Square, Sauchie

Completed in 1989, Holton Square is a small development of fifteen bungalows in a spacious setting near to the main street in Sauchie. The Post Office is 100 yards away, the library 300 yards away and there is a good range of local shops. The nearest large supermarket is three-quarters of a mile from the scheme. Banks, building societies, dental surgeries and the health centre are in Alloa, about a mile away.

All the bungalows are double glazed and have electric heating. Upstairs flats are fitted with door entry systems.

The communal garden areas are maintained by the Association.

Community Alarm System

There is an arrangement with the local council whereby tenants who consider that they are at risk may have their homes linked into this emergency care system.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Holton Square is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.

Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
