The Post Office is 100 yards away, the library 300 yards away and there is a good range of local shops. The nearest large supermarket is three-quarters of a mile from the scheme. Banks, building societies, dental surgeries and the health centre are in Alloa, about a mile away.
All the bungalows are double glazed and have electric heating. Upstairs flats are fitted with door entry systems.
