John O'Hara Court, Falkirk
| John O'Hara Court is located in the Camelon area of Falkirk and is close to the Mariner Centre. The dental surgery is 100 yards away and the Post Office 300 yards. The medical practice is also close by. Within three-quarters of a mile there is a range of shops and a choice of pubs and restaurants. Banks, building societies and the library are about a mile away. Completed in 1988, the development consists of 17 properties in all, of which nine have been specially designed for wheelchair users. All of the flats are double glazed, have gas central heating and are fitted with door entry systems. There is an arrangement with the local council whereby tenants who consider that they are at risk may have their homes linked into this emergency care system. The garden area is maintained by the Association.
