Lychgate Lane, Broxburn

Completed in 2000, Lychgate Lane is located just off West Main Street, close to the Union Canal, and consists of 26 houses and flats. The scheme is well served by buses to both Bathgate and Edinburgh. There is a library about 100 yards away, dental surgeries within 200 yards and the medical centre is just over half a mile away. St Johns Hospital is in Livingston, three miles away. Within 500 yards of Lychgate Lane are banks and a wide range of shops, including a supermarket. The Post Office is half a mile away and there is a choice of pubs and restaurants within a mile.

All properties are double-glazed and have gas central heating. The flats have door entry systems.

The Association maintains the communal garden areas.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Lychgate Lane is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Housing Services Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.

Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
