Lyon Crescent, Bridge of Allan

Image of Lyon Crescent, Bridge of Allan

Lyon Crescent is a courtyard-type development built close to all the amenities in Bridge of Allan. Within 500 yards of the development are banks, the Post Office, dental surgery and health centre. There is a choice of pubs and restaurants and a number of local shops, all within 700 yards. The library and supermarket are about two and a half miles away, in Stirling.

Completed in 1995, the development consists of six properties suitable for wheelchair users, seven properties for people with limited mobility and eight upstairs flats for older people. All properties are double-glazed and have electric, white meter central heating. Upstairs flats are fitted with door entry systems.

Both the garden area and the road into the development are maintained by the Association.

Community Alarm System

There is an arrangement with the local council whereby tenants who consider that they are at risk may have their homes linked into this emergency care system.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Lyon Crescent is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.

Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Our turnover of tenants is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
