Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house in Edinburgh, please note that you must make your application through the EdIndex Housing Register. You can receive an EdIndex application form by contacting Margaret Blackwood Housing Association directly, or by contacting the EdIndex Central Administration Unit, 8 West Pilton Gardens, Edinburgh, EH4 4DP, or by telephoning them on 0131 529 5080.

Please note that our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
