The Association has been developing high quality housing solutions for the last 33 years and now has around 1500 properties under management. The Renewal and Development staff have acquired a wealth of experience over this time in providing housing for wheelchair users, people with limited mobility, the elderly and those with general needs. Our staff have a wide range of professional expertise and qualifications, ranging from engineering, surveying and architecture in developing housing. The Association provides housing with the highest quality of design, and specifications which: - include innovative solutions to a broad range of challenges

The Rowan Group
 | | MBHA are members of the Rowan Group, a consortium group of housing associations that also includes Barony, Cairn, Dunedin Canmore, Manor Estates, Prospect Community and Viewpoint Housing Associations as well as Malcolm Homes, the market letting service of the Dunedin Canmore Group. FundingThe Association's Housing Association Grant (HAG) funding for new developments, remodelling and major repairs has increased every year for the last three years and is likely to increase again in 2006/07. Acquiring New Sites for the FutureThe Association is currently looking for further sites for residential development in the following key areas of demand: - Edinburgh
- Aberdeen
- Moray Area
- North Lanarkshire
- Glasgow
- Dundee including Angus
- Renfrew
- Inverclyde
- Scottish Borders
The criteria for the type of sites that the Association are looking for are: - reasonably flat or on a slight slope
- close to amenities such as shops and a post office
- close to public transport links
- close to services.
