Within minutes of Leith Links Park and off Restalrig Road, Barleyhill Terrace sits well with the residential characteristics of the surrounding area. The flats were designed to face south for maximum solar and light gains and were tailored specifically for relaxed and easy living with an open plan living and kitchen area, and en suite shower rooms in five of the flats.

Six of the flats were developed under Edinburgh Council's affordable housing policy, known also as the Section 75 agreement. The remaining six were purchased as "off the shelf" properties.
