Smithycroft Road, Glasgow

Smithycroft Road is situated just off the south side of Cumbernauld Road. The development was completed in 1991, the development consists of three flats for wheelchair users as well as four first-floor flats. All properties are double glazed and have electric white meter storage heating. The upstairs flats have a shared entrance with door entry system.

The Association maintains the enclosed gardens to the rear of the development.

Shops and amenities

Smithycroft Road is well served by public transport and is close to the M8 Motorway, giving easy access to Glasgow city centre and to Edinburgh and Stirling. The Post Office, a bank and a range of local shops are within a couple of hundred yards, with a major supermarket just over a mile away at Parkhead Forge. The health centre is about 800 yards away and Dennistoun Library one and a half miles away.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Smithycroft Road is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.
