Smithycroft Road is situated just off the south side of Cumbernauld Road. It is well served by public transport and is close to the M8 Motorway, giving easy access to Glasgow city centre and to Edinburgh and Stirling. The Post Office, a bank and a range of local shops are within a couple of hundred yards, with a major supermarket just over a mile away at Parkhead Forge. The health centre is about 800 yards away and Dennistoun Library one and a half miles away.

Smithycroft Road was completed in 1991, the development consists of three flats for wheelchair users as well as four first-floor flats. All properties are double glazed and have electric white meter storage heating. The upstairs flats have a shared entrance with door entry system.

The Association maintains the enclosed gardens to the rear of the development.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Smithycroft Road is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office whilst the Maintenance Department is based in the Edinburgh Office.

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Our turnover of tenancies is low so, regrettably, waiting lists do apply.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
