Margaret Blackwood recruits new Board Members

Margaret Blackwood Housing Association has recruited four new members to their Board.

Andy Drane is a partner with commercial law practice Davidson Chalmers, where he heads the construction and projects department. Andy also advises clients operating in the health sector.

Colin Kinghorn is an Internal Audit and Risk Management Consultant with Chiene & Tait Chartered Accountants. He delivers SFHA training on risk management and strategic planning.

Mags Lightbody has wide experience of housing management, stock transfer, area regeneration, homelessness and private sector housing renewal. Mags is currently the Furnished Let Business Manager with Glasgow Housing Association.

Bob Millar is Chief Executive of New City Vision, an organisation involved in large scale housing-led urban renewal and regeneration projects. Bob was also formally Chief Executive of Scottish Homes/Communities Scotland and a director of Miller Homes.

Welcoming the new Board members, Chair Robin Burley said, "The range of skills and experience that Mags, Andy, Bob and Colin bring to the Association will strengthen the Board team enormously and I am confident their enthusiasm will drive us forward in the years ahead."

The Association is presently also seeking to recruit a further two tenant members to the Board.
