Press Release - MBHA Appoints Chap Construction

Margaret Blackwood Housing Association has appointed Westhill-based Chap Construction (Aberdeen) Ltd to build 11 flats at park Road, Ellon.

The new development, due to be completed in November this year will include two flats designed around the needs of wheelchair users, one flat for an older couple or someone with impaired mobility, and eight flats for people who have general housing needs. The development is situated close to the centre of Ellon, near the banks of the River Ythan, on a brownfield site previously accommodating light industrial units.

The overall cost of the development is Ł1.17 million, with Ł790,000 in Housing Association Grant coming from Communities Scotland.
