Paying your Rent
As a tenant of Margaret Blackwood Housing Association it is your responsibility to ensure that your rent payments are made on time. Rent payments can be made using any of the following payment methods. Direct DebitDirect Debits can be be set up for payment on either the 1st or 15th of each month. If you require a Direct Debit form, please contact your Housing Officer. ChequeIf you pay your rent by cheque, please make your cheque payable to Margaret Blackwood Housing Association, and please clearly mark your name and address on the back of the cheque. Allpay | An allpay card can be used to pay rent online, by telephone, at all Post Offices or at any shop with payzone facilities. If you require an allpay card please contact your Housing Officer. Paying Online If you wish to pay online, please click here to be redirected to the allpay site (opens in a new browser window). Once there, you will be asked to enter your 19 digit allpay card number. You can then follow the on-screen instructions to make your payment. Post Offices and shops with payzone Facilities There are hundreds of payzone terminals (opens in a new browser window) located in shops and Post Offices across Scotland. Just look for the payzone logo shown here. When making a payment this way, please keep your receipt as proof of payment. By Telephone You can use your allpay card to make payments by debit card only over the phone simply by calling 0870 243 3434. This service is accessible from any landline or mobile phone with a touch tone keypad and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. | | Checking your Rent AccountYou will be sent a rent statement twice yearly which details payments and balances on your account, however if you would like to check your rent account at any other time you can contact your housing officer who will be able to discuss this with you. Getting Help with your RentIf you are experiencing difficulty with paying your rent, please contact your housing officer as soon as possible for advice.
