What you said... and what MBHA have done!

MBHA's Tenant Day 2005 at Hampden Park

Nearly half of all tenants who attended the day filled in a feedback form:

  • 92% of tenants said that the day was a good length
  • 97% of tenants thought that the venue was good or reasonable
  • 83% of you said that the facilities, including toilets, loop systems etc were good or reasonable
  • 95% of you said that the information stands were good or reasonable
  • 96% of you said that the speakers were interesting and had enough information

Your favourite parts of the day were:

  • the speakers (26%)
  • meeting the staff and other tenants (24%)
  • the House Building workshop (15%)
  • and All of it! (15%)

When you were asked about the worst bit of the day:

  • 84% of you said none of it
  • 16% of you made some helpful comments (see below)

Your favourite speaker was:

  • Bob James on Neighbourhood Watch, followed by
  • Jennifer Evans on tenant gardening
  • 19% of you liked all of them though!

You were asked about the time and the size of the event:

  • 84% of you said the time and day was good for them
  • 13% said that it was a bit early because of travel
  • 70% of you said that you would like more local tenants events as well as national events

And these were your comments:

Overall

  • I would like to thank the staff for all their hard work –very much appreciated
  • I was pleased with everything
  • Very satisfied!
  • Great food too
  • Thanks!
  • Thank you all for a pleasant day
  • Would have been good to hear more about MBHA's future plans
  • It was brilliant!
  • Great day, enjoyed it immensely
  • I found the day interesting, informative and rather enlightening
  • Local travel was difficult

On the facilities

  • More accessible toilets needed
  • A long walk to the rooms
  • The queues for food were not ideal for disabled people
  • No Braille signage in the lifts

On the Venue

  • Nice facilities
  • Good as offered the required facilities for disabled people
  • Good and interesting for kids as well
  • An interesting venue
  • Bright, comfortable and in a good location
  • Well laid out
  • Easy to get to
  • Too big –not cosy
  • Good food and staff were helpful
  • Directions to the venue were not good
  • Very friendly
  • Too far from the city centre

Based on your comments, these are the actions the Tenant Events Planning Group will try to change:

  • Length of day was good but a little early for some who were travelling a long way
  • Venue good but more accessible toilets needed (if possible –this was the best we could find!)
  • You liked meeting staff and other tenants, and the speakers and workshops.
  • The information stands were useful
  • Tenants want a mixture of national and local events.

Thank you all very much for your comments and opinions!

If you have any other suggestions, please contact your Tenant Participation Officer or why not join our tenant events planning panel?
