Feedback

We are always striving to improve our services. We want to be as personalised and as flexible as possible to ensure that the people we support are able to achieve what they want out of life and from the communities they live in.

To do this well we need to know about what works well and to learn from times when things may not go as planned. That is why we encourage everyone who comes into contact with our support services to give us feedback. Everyone who uses our services has the opportunity to comment on them and we will always try to make the changes and improvements people ask for. Some examples of the feedback we have received and the changes we made in response to this are:

What individuals asked for:

  • more involvement in interviews for new staff
  • more opportunities for discussion about our service

What we did:

  • we arranged for individuals to have training and support to interview for new staff members
  • we set up monthly surgeries and meetings with support for people to attend
