At Margaret Blackwood Housing Association we are fully committed to providing and delivering the highest standard of care and support by putting you first.

'Backing Your Life Choices' is our person centred approach that ensures we work to help you take control of your own life. We do this by finding out what is important to you, and to support your life choices to live as independently as possible in the way you choose. 
    

How we will back your life choices

  • Cala Sona ResidentWe will take time to listen and talk with you at a pace that ensures we understand what dreams, desires and meaningful experiences you want from life. In doing this we will make you the priority when it comes to planning services and providing support.
  • We will support you to focus on a quality of life that is meaningful and will explore a range of options together for your future.
  • We will help you use your imagination and expand your self-belief about what is possible for your future.
  • We will work with those close to you to meet the challenges you may face in your day to day life. We will tackle any difficulties together and learn from each situation.
  • We will work together to seek out solutions to overcome the problems and issues that stand in the way of achieving your dreams and life choices.
