Angela Way, Uddingston

Angela WayAngela Way was completed in 1991 and has 33 self-contained flats. The development also has a communal lounge, a laundry and a staff office. The building is on three floors, accessible by stairs.

The emphasis at Angela Way is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able. For some, sheltered housing may be a first step towards independent living. Housing Services staff can advise on alternative housing options.

  • 10 one-bedroom flats, each suitable for a single person or couple
  • 7 two-bedroom flats, each suitable for up to three people

Local Services

Local taxi firms have vehicles adapted to accommodate wheelchair users. There is a good local bus service and bus stops are close by. Trains to Glasgow/Bellshill/Motherwell run every 30 minutes from Uddingston station.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Angela Way is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office. The Maintenance Department is based in our Edinburgh Office.
