Situated one and a half miles from Stirling town centre, Broom Court is a small modern housing estate designed to provide integrated accommodation for people with physical disabilities. Opened in 1987, it includes homes adapted for wheelchair users and for people with limited mobility as well as mainstream housing and flats for senior citizens. Twenty-four hour care is offered within the Supported Accommodation Unit for disabled people between 18 and 65 who have a high support need.
There is a local Dial-a-Journey service. Local taxi firms also have vehicles adapted to accommodate wheelchair users. There is a good local bus service and bus stops are close by.
There are many amenities and services available in this area. For more information on topics such as public transport, schools and leisure please visit the Stirling Council website and/or the UpMyStreet website.
Broom Court is managed from the Association's Glasgow Housing Services Office. The Maintenance Department is based in our Edinburgh Office. Defects can be reported to the Duty Manager, who will arrange emergency repairs if necessary.
