Situated in the heart of Leith, close to Britannia and to the new Scottish Office, the Association's development is in adjoining streets. It was completed in 1983 and consists of 20 flats, ten of which have been designed for wheelchair users. All properties are double glazed and have gas heating. Four flats are fitted with door entry systems. There are garden grounds, which are maintained by the Association.
Argyle Street
The area is served well by public transport with Lothian Buses providing services from the nearby North Junction Street, Ferry Road and Lindsay Road.
There are many amenities and services available in this area. For more information on topics such as public transport, schools and leisure please visit the City of Edinburgh Council website and/or the UpMyStreet website.
The scheme is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Housing Services Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.
We participate in City of Edinburgh Council's common housing register, Edindex. If you would like to apply for a house at Hopefield Terrace or Argyle Street, you should complete an EdIndex application form. We would be delighted to provide you with an EdIndex form, just phone us on 0131 317 7227. Alternatively you can contact the EdIndex Central Administration at the following address:
