Slater Way is located off Montrose Street, on the outskirts of Brechin which is an area that is currently being regenerated by Angus Council in partnership with private developers and other Associations. The site has been divided up into three sections - one for the development of affordable housing by a private developer JD Laing, one for a 50 place nursery school and the third for our development.
Completed in October 2007, Slater Way consists of 15 houses and bungalows, of which 5 have been designed for full time wheelchair users, 2 for people with limited mobility, and 8 family houses. All properties are double glazed and have gas central heating. The flats are fitted with door entry systems and digital satellite systems.
The Association maintains the communal garden areas.
There are many amenities and services available in this area. For more information on topics such as public transport, schools and leisure please visit the Angus Council website and/or the UpMyStreet website.
Slater Way is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Housing Services Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.
