Tweedbridge Court

N.B. Due to remodelling we are not currently accepting applications for tenancy at Tweedbridge Court.

Tweedbridge Court was completed in 1978 and has 38 self-contained flats of various sizes. The development has a communal lounge, laundry and a guest bedroom. There is a staff office. The building has two floors and is served by a lift.

The emphasis at Tweedbridge Court is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able. For some, sheltered housing may be a first step towards independent living. Housing Services staff can advise on alternative housing options.

  • 23 studio apartments, suitable for a single person
  • 7 one-bedroom flats, suitable for a single person or couple
  • 5 two-bedroom flats, suitable for two people
  • 3 three-bedroom flats, suitable for up to five people

Local Services

Local taxi firms have vehicles adapted to accommodate wheelchair users. There is a good local bus service and bus stops are close by.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Tweedbridge Court is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.
