A father and son from Uddingston who took over gardening work from a private contractor have scooped an award for transforming the gardens in their street.
In 2008 Blackwood, then Margaret Blackwood Housing Association, was inspected by the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) and given a ‘fair' grading and an improvement plan listing points to address where services could be improved. Three years on, Blackwood has come out the other side of a steep learning curve in excellent shape.
