MBHA’s Raeden Court staff take to their beds to care for residents

December 7, 2010

Raeden Court Staff in the SnowFor the care and support staff of Margaret Blackwood Housing Association's Raeden Court in Aberdeen, the snowstorm started a week past Wednesday. With many of the residents and tenants having complex support needs, taking time off because of ice and snowdrifts hasn't been an option.

Support worker Eileen Ferries, who lives out at Alford and is seen here reclining comfortably, arrived at the development at 11am ready for her nightshift, prepared to camp out on an inflatable bed in the respite room. Two of Eileen's dayshift colleagues have also taken to the blow-up beds.

Raeden Court's residents are secure in the knowledge that they have a dedicated and unstoppable care team to support them - and have some fun into the bargain.
