In 2008 Blackwood, then Margaret Blackwood Housing Association, was inspected by the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) and given a ‘fair' grading and an improvement plan listing points to address where services could be improved. Three years on, Blackwood has come out the other side of a steep learning curve in excellent shape.
Blackwood’s Board of Management is thrilled to announce its decision to extend Steve White’s contract as Interim Chief Executive for a further 18 months.
Stephen Gallagher was appointed as the new Chairperson for Blackwood at the Annual General Meeting on 12th September 2011. Stephen has a long-standing commitment to Blackwood, having served as a Board member since 2003 and as Vice Chair since 2007.
