Welcome to Margaret Blackwood Housing Association

Margaret Blackwood Housing Association designs, builds and manages affordable housing for both disabled and non disabled people in small communities across Scotland, providing different levels of care and support as appropriate.
We currently have around 1,600 properties ranging from one bedroom flats to five bedroom family houses, in 91 small, mixed community developments.

We also have two associated organisations:
- Margaret Blackwood Technical Consultants has in the past offered consultancy on design and adaptations. In the immediate future, it is concentrating on building up its Small Works Team, including doing things like wet floor showers
- The Blackwood Foundation is a recently established charity which is in the process of recruiting staff and agreeing a business plan.
MBHA is a Registered Scottish Charity (number SC007658). We are also registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator and the Care Commission.
