Housing By Town

Housing by Council Area

Abbey Court, Edinburgh

Abbey Court is located in the Abbeyhill area of Edinburgh. The scheme was completed in 1982 and has 44 self-contained flats of various sizes. The development has a communal lounge, laundry and guest bedrooms. There is a staff office. The main building has three floors, all of which are served by a lift.

The emphasis at Abbey Court is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able. For some, sheltered housing may be a first step towards independent living. Housing Services staff can advise on alternative housing options.

Please note that services provided at Abbey Court are currently under review. Information regarding the services on offer will be updated shortly.
