Abbey Court is located in the Abbeyhill area of Edinburgh. The scheme was completed in 1982 and has 44 self-contained flats of various sizes. The development has a communal lounge, laundry and guest bedrooms. There is a staff office. The main building has three floors, all of which are served by a lift. The emphasis at Abbey Court is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able.
