Dougans Square, Armadale

Located off George Street, Dougan's Square is within 300 yards of a broad range of shops including supermarkets, a bank, Post Office, library and medical centre. A dental surgery is also close by. St. John's Hospital in Livingston is about seven miles away.

Completed in 1990, the development consists of seven flats, three of which are suitable for wheelchair users. All properties are double-glazed, have electric central heating and are fitted with door entry systems. Any tenant who may feel vulnerable can be linked into the local authority Community Alarm system.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Dougan's Square is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Housing Services Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.

Applying for a House

If you would like to apply for a house, please make your application direct to our Housing Services Department in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. Additionally, please apply to the Housing Department of your local council, with whom we have a nomination agreement.

Rent and Service Charges

Rents and service charges are normally reviewed on an annual basis. Service charges cover various services such as landscaping and the replacement of equipment. All tenants receive a detailed Service Charge Statement every year.
