Eskdale Mews, Musselburgh

Completed in 1989, Eskdale Mews consists of 24 houses and flats, 11 of which are designed for wheelchair users. All properties are double glazed and have electric heating. The flats are fitted with door entry systems. There is an arrangement with the local council whereby tenants who consider that they are at risk may have their homes linked into this emergency care system. The Association maintains the garden area. Located just off New Street, the development has a wide range of shops, including a supermarket, a Post Office, banks and building societies, pubs and restaurants, all with 400 yards. Dental surgeries and medical centres are also close by.

Scheme Management and Maintenance

Eskdale Mews is managed from the Association's Edinburgh Housing Services Office, where the Maintenance Department is also based.
