Tweed Bridge Court, Peebles
| N.B. Due to remodelling we are not currently accepting applications for tenancy at Tweed Bridge Court. Tweed Bridge Court is located near to the town centre, on the south side of the bridge over the river Tweed. Shops, health centres, schools and other amenities are all nearby. The scheme was completed in 1978 and has 38 self-contained flats of various sizes. The development has a communal lounge, laundry and a guest bedroom. There is a staff office. The building has two floors and is served by a lift. The emphasis at Tweed Bridge Court is on tenants being as independent as possible. Tenants are encouraged to undertake all aspects of day-to-day living tasks as far as they are able. For some, sheltered housing may be a first step towards independent living. Housing Services staff can advise on alternative housing options. Please note that services provided at Tweed Bridge Court are currently under review.
